Sekou Doumbouya, 6'9" 230 6'11" WS - International prospect from France. I'd call him a 'below-the-rim' type of guy. My hesitation is that he is a true post player in a too small for the NBA frame. Grant Williams, 6"7" 236 6'11" WS - Tennessee's workhorse, a 100% effort player, who did it all for the Vols. The hope would be that he continues to move back to 3pt range. His post game isn't lacking, but it looks like he's more comfortable in mid-range drives or jump shots. PJ Washington, 6'8" 228 7'3" WS - A fellow UK Wildcat, just based on my personal watching feels like a guard or wing stuck in a big man's body. Rui Hachimura, 6'8" 230 7'2" WS - Clarke's teammate, while a little bit of a 3/4 tweener, he possesses solid effort and beginning pieces of a well-rounded game. He hasn't stretched his game too far outside of the paint though.

He has more blocks than missed shots for Gonzaga. Zion and Hunter won't be there at 10.īrandon Clarke, 6'8" 215 6'10" WS - A super athletic, defensive-minded big. There are a ton of players who could fill roles as a true 4 or 3/4 hybrid in this class. While not my first choice, selecting a backup (at least for the year 1) wouldn't be out of the question. Saric will basically have a tryout year in '19-'20, to see if he is a long term solution. Secondarily, looking at PF, specifically someone to stick next to Towns could be an option. Wouldn't be a pick at 10, but has a Tyus like ability to be a solid contributor off the bench. Kind of plays in slow motion, but is a good shooter and is extremely smart. Ty Jerome, 6'5" 195 6'2.5" WS - Largely carried Virginia to the National Championship. I was originally, very high on him, but his small frame may be a liability defensively, despite playing in a good VT defense (a lot of zone). Elite shooter with secondary playmaking ability (needs to develop). Nickeil Alexander-Walker, 6'5" 205 6'9" WS - Combo guard from VT. Not a huge athlete, but quick and lack of WS might hinder his defense. Great handle, but could work on his passing.Ĭoby White, 6'5" 185 6'4" WS - Bit of a combo guard that possesses great speed and good P&R instincts. Garland was the top-ranked PG in the class going into the year.

Ja/Culver won't be there at 10.ĭarius Garland, 6'2" 175 6'5" WS - Coming off a meniscus injury. There are a few 'combo guards', but even they weren't the starting PG on their respective teams. Of the players listed, I'd personally classify most of them as more off-ball players, hopefully, Coby White is available and can do some damage as a true PG, but after that, it gets very slim in terms of ball-handlers. Only problem being, there aren't many true PGs outside of Ja Morant and Darius Garland. A year under Teague to learn the ropes is ideal for the high learning curve. My overall Wolves take would be to look at PG this year drafting 10th. They will also have mocks and a team needs section coming in the future, so be on the watch for that. It is a great starting point to start developing ideas or opinions about players. Say what you want about Bill Simmons and The Ringer, but I always look forward to their draft guide.
